JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties consist of but are not limited to providing training and assistance in basic self-help skills and homemaking services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Including transportation, accompanying clients to scheduled appointments, house cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, personal hygiene and other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED preferred. If applicant does not possess high school diploma or GED, or pass the Pecan Valley Centers competency exam. Must be at least 18 years of age, must have a valid Texas driver's license, have a clear driving record for the past 3 years and a valid auto insurance card.
PHYSICAL ABILITIES: Must satisfactorily be able to perform job specific tasks prescribed in physical. Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, sit, stand, push, pull, kneel, and lift. Must be able to perform routine lifting of handicapped clients.
