The site includes extensive information on autism, as well as information about the organization and ways to get involved.
Autism Ontario is dedicated to increasing public awareness about autism and the day-to-day issues faced by individuals with autism, their families, and the professionals with whom they interact. Features on the site includes a description of autism and what it's like to live with it, as well as a magazine, articles, research, related books and links.
Autism Independent UK
The Society exists to bring an increased awareness of autism to the notice of all, together with well established and newly developed approaches in the diagnosis, assessment, handling and treatment of persons suffering from autism. The website provides comprehensive information on autism including the culture of autism, treatments, symptoms, and many facts. The site also offers an active forum area.
Autism Speaks is a science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. The site includes a wealth of information on Autism, including articles, fact sheets, video glossary, tool kits, lists of autism apps, and more. Definitely worth checking out.
Autism SA Website
Autism SA provides services to people with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families (currently 200 registered). The website gives information and publications on Autism and Asperger syndrome, information on Autism SA training and development, resources and links to more information.
